Releasing from the logical, linear expectations society puts on us and stepping into creativity. This is the invitation Meghan invites each of us into in this conversation. Her way is beautiful. Her energy is magnetic. She is soothing and inspiring. Ahhh. I am refreshed.

Meghan is such a beautiful storyteller and she so graciously walks us through her story of being an introverted creator. Her journey of experiencing burnout and moving through her burnout into joy. Releasing herself from solving a problem in her art and instead creating for the pure joy of the experience. And entering into play, which to her is creativity sans knowing the outcome.

In so many ways society has conditioned us to believe that for something to be of value it must have a measurable and tangible outcome that fits into the mold of what success “looks like”. Meghan invites us into our vulnerability. Sharing that creativity is a vulnerable act that leads to our healing.

Meghan Geliza Jackson (pron: Jeh-lee-za) is a Filipino-Kiwi earth pigment artist, creative director, educator and holistic facilitator from Auckland, New Zealand.

She creates paint slowly made from soil, foraged respectfully and reciprocally. She paints our Inner Universes, in collaboration with our Earth Mother. She sees her art practice as her main conduit of healing. She also holds spaces through sound baths and energy healing.

She exhibited internationally and runs online courses to help people come home within through creativity.
